Hailing from Benin, West Africa, AMÉMÉ is the driving force behind One Tribe, a rising movement in global electronic music. His sonic identity is rooted in African rhythms and ancestral influences, blending tribal percussion with driving, hypnotic house and techno. AMÉMÉ has steadily carved a unique space in the international scene, earning recognition for his passionate DJ sets as well as his consistently innovative productions.

Relocating to New York City, AMÉMÉ finessed his craft by performing at clubs and curating immersive gatherings, growing a devoted following and bridging cultural boundaries. His organic musical approach caught the attention of major tastemakers, leading to releases on acclaimed imprints like Watergate Records, Crosstown Rebels, and Armada. He has achieved support from icons including Black Coffee, Pete Tong (who selected him for BBC Radio 1’s ‘Future Star’), and has featured in Boiler Room, Circoloco, and international festival main stages.
