Boris Brejcha was born on November 26, 1981, in Ludwigshafen, Germany. Growing up, he developed a keen interest in electronic music and began experimenting with music production in his early teens. His fascination with complex rhythms and unconventional sound design set him apart from his peers and would later become a hallmark of his signature style.
Brejcha officially launched his music career in 2006 with his first releases on Autist Records. Soon after, he gained international attention for his innovative take on minimal techno, coining the term "High-Tech Minimal" to describe his music. This genre blends powerful basslines, intricate melodies, and unique soundscapes, establishing Boris as a pioneer in the global electronic music scene.
In 2015, together with his friends, Boris founded his own label, FCKNG SERIOUS, providing a creative platform for his productions and those of like-minded artists. He is instantly recognizable behind the decks by his trademark Joker mask, inspired by the Venetian Carnival, which adds a theatrical element to his dynamic live performances. Over the years, Boris Brejcha has performed at major festivals and clubs around the world, including Tomorrowland, Time Warp, EXIT Festival, and Cercle events.
His albums, such as "Feuerfalter" and "Space Diver," have received critical acclaim for pushing the boundaries of techno and electronic music.
