Cooke is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersections of memory, identity, and environment through a blend of traditional and contemporary mediums. Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Cooke draws inspiration from the region’s stark landscapes and shifting weather patterns, often incorporating natural textures and found materials into their practice. After earning a BFA in Fine Arts from the University of Washington in 2012, Cooke has exhibited in both solo and group shows across the United States and internationally, including spaces in Seattle, Los Angeles, London, and Berlin.

Their recent body of work fuses painting, sculpture, and digital media to examine personal narratives and collective histories, approaching each piece as an evolving dialogue between surface, space, and viewer. Beyond the studio, Cooke is dedicated to community engagement, developing workshops and collaborative projects that center accessibility and creative empowerment. Their work has been featured in publications such as Artforum, Hyperallergic, and the Los Angeles Times, and is held in several private and public collections.

Cooke continues to live and work in Seattle, where they are currently developing a new series focused on the interplay between urban development and ecological fragility.
