Cosmina

Cosmina is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersections of memory, identity, and the passage of time through an evocative blend of painting, installation, and new media. Born in Bucharest, Romania, and currently based between Berlin and London, Cosmina draws inspiration from the transience of urban landscapes and personal narratives, often transforming found materials and archival imagery into immersive visual experiences. After completing her studies at the Royal College of Art, Cosmina’s practice has evolved to encompass both intimate studio pieces and site-specific installations, reflecting her fascination with environments in flux and themes of cultural displacement.

Her art has been exhibited internationally in venues such as Kunsthalle Wien, the Warsaw Museum of Contemporary Art, and the Saatchi Gallery, and has been featured in publications including ArtReview and Contemporary Art Daily. Navigating linguistic and geographical boundaries, Cosmina’s work continuously seeks to unravel the layers of meaning embedded in objects, places, and collective histories, inviting viewers to engage with alternate perspectives on memory and belonging.
