Crookers is the acclaimed Italian electronic music project originally founded by DJs and producers Andrea "Bot" Fratangelo and Francesco "Phra" Barbaglia in 2003. Hailing from Milan, Crookers rapidly made a name for themselves on the international club scene with a signature blend of electro house, hip-hop, and fidget house vibes—characterized by gritty basslines, frenetic beats, and a playful sense of experimentation. Their energetic and genre-bending productions led to high-profile collaborations and remixes, including their global hit remix of Kid Cudi’s “Day ‘n’ Nite,” which achieved widespread commercial and critical success.
Throughout the years, Crookers released several acclaimed EPs and albums, such as their 2010 debut LP "Tons of Friends," which featured an array of guest artists from diverse musical backgrounds. After Bot’s departure in 2012, Phra continued the Crookers project as a solo act, maintaining the bold, party-driven sound that has become synonymous with the name. Crookers is celebrated for dynamic DJ performances and innovative studio work, solidifying their status as one of Italy’s most influential acts in the global dance music landscape.
