Alongside his close collaborator DJ Spinn, he co-founded the Teklife crew, a collective credited with pushing the boundaries of juke and footwork, blending rapid-fire beats and chopped samples with a relentless, hypnotic energy.

DJ Rashad’s 2013 album "Double Cup" on Hyperdub brought global attention to footwork, receiving critical acclaim for its innovative production and bold experimentation.
