Elia Tomé is a contemporary artist from Greece whose multidisciplinary practice explores the intersection of memory, landscape, and cultural identity. Born in Athens in 1989, Tomé studied fine arts at the Athens School of Fine Arts before completing a master’s degree in visual arts in Berlin. Drawing inspiration from the complex history and vibrant nature of the Mediterranean, Tomé’s work weaves together painting, sculpture, and installation to evoke themes of displacement and belonging.
Her distinctive mixed-media approach incorporates found materials, organic pigments, and traditional Greek iconography, resulting in evocative pieces that bridge the past with the present. Tomé has exhibited in solo and group shows across Europe, including notable galleries in Athens, Berlin, and Vienna, and her work has been featured in several contemporary art publications. Through her evolving artistic practice, Elia Tomé continues to reflect on the enduring power of place and personal narrative in shaping collective memory.
