Karen Nyame KG is a British-Ghanaian DJ, producer, and vocalist renowned for her innovative blend of UK club music, Afro-futurism, and percussive rhythms. Based in London, KG began her musical journey as a teenager, experimenting with production software and honing her singular sonic identity. Her early work contributed to the legacy of the UK Funky movement, helping bridge underground club sounds with diasporic African influences.

Over her career, KG has released music on cutting-edge labels such as Hyperdub, Black Acre, and Goon Club Allstars, earning international acclaim for tracks like "Taboo" and the “Sensei” EP. Known for her energetic and emotive DJ sets, she has performed at a range of leading venues and festivals, both in the UK and abroad, showcasing her knack for seamlessly weaving together genres from garage and house to Afrobeat and gqom. A regular presenter on BBC Radio 1 and NTS, KG is also active in mentoring and championing women and nonbinary artists in the electronic scene.

Her collaborative projects include work with Scratcha DVA, UNiiQU3, and fellow members of the all-women collective, The Busy Twist.
