Kaycee, born Thomas Detert in Germany, rose to prominence in the late 1990s as a dynamic DJ and producer in the trance and electronic music scenes. Initially gaining recognition through his energetic live sets and pulse-pounding productions, Kaycee quickly became synonymous with the signature “German trance” sound that defined the era. His breakthrough single, “Escape,” released in 1998, captured the attention of club audiences worldwide, followed by a series of successful tracks including “Love Stimulation,” “Millennium Stringz,” and “Sunshine.

” In addition to his solo output, Kaycee was an integral part of the celebrated Green Court project and was involved with the Tracid Traxxx label, working alongside artists such as Jam El Mar (Jam & Spoon) and André Visior. His knack for crafting melodic, euphoric anthems earned him a loyal fanbase, with his remixes and original productions being mainstays in DJ sets across Europe and beyond.
