LOFTUS

LOFTUS is a contemporary interdisciplinary artist collective known for their evocative exploration of memory, place, and human experience through multimedia installations, soundscapes, and interactive performance. Formed in 2018 and currently based between New York and Berlin, LOFTUS consists of artists Jordan Cale and Simone Vale, whose collaborative practice merges photographic archives, found objects, and new media technology to reimagine personal and collective histories. Their site-responsive works have been exhibited internationally, from the Palais de Tokyo in Paris to the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, earning acclaim for their emotional resonance and conceptual rigor.

LOFTUS’s distinctive approach invites viewers to participate in the unfolding narrative of each piece, blurring the boundaries between artist and audience. Their ongoing research into urban transformation and diaspora finds expression in both large-scale installations and intimate sound works, positioning LOFTUS at the forefront of contemporary conversations about identity, displacement, and the ever-shifting nature of home.
