Born in Switzerland to Chilean parents, Luciano (Luciano Nicolau) grew up surrounded by music, first exploring classical and Latin American genres before falling in love with hip-hop and techno during his teenage years in Geneva. Relocating to Santiago in his late teens, Luciano immersed himself in Chile’s burgeoning electronic scene, performing at underground raves and forming the iconic Pantha du Prince with fellow artists. His breakthrough came in the early 2000s after returning to Europe, where his melodic, groove-driven fusion of techno and house quickly gained international acclaim.

In 2003, Luciano co-founded the influential Cadenza label, which became synonymous with the minimal and Latin-influenced techno sound sweeping Europe’s clubs. Renowned for his energetic extended DJ sets and innovation in live performance, Luciano has held residencies at major venues including Ibiza’s DC10 and Pacha, and played at nearly every significant electronic music festival worldwide. Not just a prolific DJ, he’s also a forward-thinking producer, releasing acclaimed albums such as "Tribute to the Sun" and numerous sought-after singles and remixes.

A champion of collaboration and mentorship, Luciano has been instrumental in nurturing emerging talents in the global underground scene. Today, he remains one of electronic music’s most charismatic and influential figures, celebrated for his genre-blurring sets and for bridging cultures through music.
