Mark XTC is a pioneering figure in the UK rave, jungle, and drum & bass scenes, with a career spanning over three decades. Starting as a resident DJ at Manchester’s legendary Hacienda nightclub, he gained recognition in the late 1980s and early 1990s as a key architect of the northern rave explosion. Mark has performed at iconic events such as Fantazia, Dreamscape, Slammin Vinyl, and The Warehouse Project, building a solid reputation for his energetic mixing, versatile selections, and anthemic double drops.

Alongside DJ Sappo, he formed the influential production duo 'Master Safe', releasing a series of classic tracks that contributed to shaping the sound of early jungle and hardcore. Throughout the years, Mark XTC has released music on labels such as Formation Records and contributed mixes to BBC Radio 1Xtra, Kiss FM, and Unity Radio. Beyond the decks, he is respected as an educator and mentor, running DJ workshops for youth projects and institutions, sharing his depth of knowledge with aspiring artists.
