Matteo and Amedeo Giovanelli, known as Mathame, are an Italian DJ and producer duo recognized for their cinematic take on melodic techno. Emerging from the slopes of Sicily’s volcanic landscape, the brothers began releasing music together in 2015, quickly distinguishing themselves with distinctive sound design and narrative-driven productions. Their breakout came with releases on Afterlife, most notably the anthemic tracks “Nothing Around Us” (2018) and “Skywalking” (2019), which found broad acclaim among both audiences and established names in electronic music.
