Max Ctrl is an emerging multidisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersection between technology, identity, and contemporary culture. Born and raised in Berlin, Max grew up surrounded by the city’s vibrant street art scene and quickly became fascinated with the ways in which digital tools could extend traditional forms of expression. After studying visual arts at Universität der Künste Berlin, Max pushed into new creative territory, merging glitch aesthetics, AI-generated imagery, and analog collage to craft a distinct visual language.
Their exhibitions span local galleries, immersive online installations, and international art fairs, capturing the rapidly shifting dynamics of human experience in the digital age. Frequently collaborating with musicians, designers, and coders, Max Ctrl’s work interrogates questions of authenticity, surveillance, and the techno-mediated self, always inviting viewers to reflect on the boundaries between the virtual and the tangible.
