Mourice

Mourice is an emerging multidisciplinary artist based in Germany whose dynamic work seamlessly intersects contemporary visual art and experimental soundscapes. Drawing deeply from the vibrant subcultures of Berlin, their practice explores themes of identity, transformation, and the liminality of urban experiences. Mourice is known for blending mediums, often combining large-scale abstract paintings with immersive audio-visual installations that challenge viewers’ perceptions of space and emotion.

Since exhibiting their first solo show in Hamburg in 2019, Mourice has participated in several group exhibitions across Europe, and their work has been featured in publications highlighting innovation in the German art scene. Constantly evolving, Mourice cites influences as diverse as Bauhaus minimalism and the DIY ethos of punk music, all while foregrounding a personal narrative shaped by migration, resilience, and the pursuit of creative authenticity.
