Niklas Wandt is a Berlin-based DJ, percussionist, and producer known for his wide-ranging explorations across electronic, jazz, ambient, and experimental music. A classically trained drummer, Wandt’s musical journey began in the experimental and jazz-influenced scenes around Düsseldorf and the Ruhr area, before he transplanted his creativity to Berlin. He is recognized for infusing his sets and productions with live elements—often blending drum machines, modular synths, and his trademark percussion into hypnotic, groove-laden soundscapes.

Wandt has made a significant mark through projects such as Wolf Müller & Niklas Wandt (alongside Jan Schulte), the synth-infused club act Neuzeitliche Bodenbeläge, and his solo works including the acclaimed album “Solar Müsli.” His collaborations have led to celebrated releases on labels such as Growing Bin, Sound Metaphors, and Bureau B. Always pushing boundaries, Wandt’s DJ sets are renowned for their eclectic selection, mixing cosmic disco, psychedelic house, leftfield electronics, and percussive oddities, reflecting his deep-rooted curiosity and passion for rhythm.

Alongside his recorded output and club performances, Wandt keeps a strong connection to radio, hosting shows on Dublab and other stations, further expanding his influence and vision in contemporary dance and listening music culture.
