Born and raised in New York City, O.BEE is a DJ and producer known for his genre-blending sets and infectious energy on the dance floor. With Turkish-American roots, he draws influences from a wide spectrum of sounds—melds of minimal, electro, psychedelic house, breaks, and world music motifs.

O.BEE’s passion for sonic exploration took shape in the city’s underground, where he cut his teeth DJing at local parties before finding international acclaim. Early collaborations with like-minded artists helped shape his eclectic vision, most notably as part of the extended kru of Closer (Kyiv) and with frequent b2b partner Tomas Station.

O.BEE was mentored by the late New York legend Ricardo Romero (aka Baby Ford), whose forward-thinking approach to electronic music inspired O.BEE’s dedication to timeless grooves.

His musical output encapsulates years of crate-digging and a forward momentum, reflected in both his nuanced DJ sets and studio productions. With performances across major cities—Berlin, London, Paris, and Istanbul—O.BEE has shared the decks at world-renowned clubs and festivals, including appearances at Club der Visionaere, Sunwaves, and Hoppetosse.

Alongside DJing, he has released music on imprints such as Discobar, Yoyaku, and ODE, and co-founded projects like P.O.D.

(Paris) and Secret Society (NYC), cultivating global communities of sound. Whether behind the booth or in the studio, O.BEE’s approach seeks to transcend boundaries and unite listeners in movement and curiosity, always channeling the spirit of New York’s ever-evolving scene and the multicultural undercurrents that define his sound.
