OSKAR is a multidisciplinary artist known for his evocative exploration of identity, memory, and the interplay between urban environments and personal narrative. Born in Warsaw, Poland, in 1988, he grew up surrounded by the stark contrasts of post-communist architecture and vibrant street culture, themes that would later permeate his artistic practice. After studying fine arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, OSKAR further honed his craft through residencies and exhibitions across Europe and Asia.
His work spans painting, sculpture, and large-scale installations, often using found objects, industrial materials, and bold, gestural mark-making to evoke both fragility and resilience. OSKAR’s practice is deeply informed by his passion for music and poetry, with rhythmic lines and layered narratives recurring throughout his portfolio. Over the past decade, he has exhibited widely, from solo shows in Berlin and London to group exhibitions in Tokyo and New York, gaining acclaim for his ability to fuse personal history with broader social commentary.
Currently based in Berlin, OSKAR continues to push the boundaries of contemporary art, inviting viewers to engage with questions of place, belonging, and transformation.
