Petre Inspirescu, born Radu Bodiu in 1979 in Romania, is internationally celebrated as a pioneering figure in minimal electronic music. Emerging from Bucharest's vibrant underground scene in the early 2000s, he quickly became synonymous with Romania’s innovative “Rominimal” style—an intricate, hypnotic fusion of house, techno, and experimental sounds. As a founding member of the influential [a:rpia:r] collective alongside Raresh and Rhadoo, Inspirescu helped forge a new path for electronic music, blending percussive grooves with lush melodies and organic textures.

His productions, marked by a meticulous attention to detail and a flair for sonic exploration, span a wide range of releases on esteemed labels and his own imprint, Yojik Concon. Renowned not only as a producer but also as a DJ, Inspirescu’s extended sets are celebrated for their subtle progression and immersive atmospheres, captivating audiences at iconic clubs and festivals worldwide. In addition to his electronic works, he has ventured into contemporary classical music, combining intricate piano arrangements and orchestral elements, as highlighted in acclaimed albums like “Vin Ploile” and “Vîntul Prin Salcii.
