Philipp Stoffel

Philipp Stoffel is a contemporary Swiss artist known for his innovative approaches to abstraction and his explorations of color, form, and texture. Born in 1972 in Basel, Stoffel first trained as a graphic designer before studying fine art at the Academy of Art and Design in Basel. His work is characterized by a sensitive interplay between geometric precision and organic spontaneity, often blending traditional painting techniques with experimental materials and processes.

Stoffel’s paintings, sculptures, and installations evoke dynamic narratives and emotional resonances, inviting viewers to reconsider the boundaries between order and chaos. Over the past two decades, his work has been exhibited widely in Switzerland, Germany, and across Europe, with pieces held in both public and private collections.
