Tom Armstrong

Tom Armstrong is a contemporary visual artist whose work explores the intersections of memory, landscape, and abstraction. Raised in the American Midwest, Armstrong draws upon his rural surroundings and early experiences as inspiration for much of his painting and mixed-media output. After earning his BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, he developed a distinctive style characterized by layered textures, bold color palettes, and evocative mark-making that suggests both the fleeting nature of memory and the enduring presence of place.
