Willsy is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans painting, installation, and digital media, exploring the intersections of memory, place, and identity. Born in 1992 in Melbourne, Australia, Willsy developed an early fascination with street art and the transient nature of urban environments, which continues to inform their vibrant visual language and experimental techniques. After studying Fine Arts at RMIT University, Willsy exhibited in grassroots galleries across Melbourne before gaining broader recognition with solo exhibitions at spaces such as Tinning Street and Sawtooth ARI.

Their work often comprises layered, gestural mark-making, found materials, and fragments of text, conjuring immersive worlds that invite viewers to excavate forgotten histories and personal narratives. In recent years, Willsy has collaborated with musicians and poets, expanding their practice into video art and live performance. Their projects have been awarded support from the Australia Council for the Arts and featured in publications including Artlink and Vault.

Now based in Naarm (Melbourne), Willsy continues to push the boundaries of storytelling across disciplines, seeking new ways to foster dialogue and community through art.
