The Wright Venue, located in the South Quarter area of Airside, Swords, Dublin, was once regarded as one of Ireland’s premier nightclubs and entertainment destinations. Opened in 2009 by the Wright hospitality group, the venue quickly established itself with its lavish decor, VIP areas, and large-scale dance floors, distinguishing it from other late-night spots in Dublin. Designed to evoke the glamour of international superclubs, The Wright Venue encompassed multiple floors, each with different music genres, luxury furnishings, and a reputation for spectacular light and sound systems.

Built at a time when nightlife in Dublin was evolving, its South Quarter location helped boost the Airside area’s nightlife profile. Notable artists who performed at The Wright Venue included international superstars such as Calvin Harris, Afrojack, 50 Cent, and Professor Green, as well as renowned DJs like Pete Tong and Fatboy Slim. The venue also presented local heroes of the Irish dance scene, including Mark McCabe, Johnny Moy, and Marty Guilfoyle, further cementing its reputation as a landmark destination for both international and homegrown talent.
