The venue is housed in a repurposed industrial space on Cowper Street, and its two-floor layout—complete with a powerful sound system and minimalist, contemporary design—has become emblematic of London’s modern clubbing aesthetic.

In its early years, XOYO focused on providing a platform for cutting-edge house, techno, drum and bass, and hip-hop acts, attracting a loyal crowd drawn to its consistent commitment to underground music and high-quality programming. XOYO’s reputation for championing both established and emerging artists has cemented its cultural significance within the UK and beyond. UK-based stars like Annie Mac, Jackmaster, Eats Everything, DJ EZ, and Ms.
