AIKO INOUE

Aiko Inoue is a contemporary Japanese artist whose work bridges traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern artistic sensibilities. Born in Kyoto in 1986, Inoue grew up immersed in the city's rich culture of craft and art, nurturing an early fascination with the understated beauty of everyday life. She studied fine arts at Tama Art University in Tokyo, where she developed her signature style—fusing sumi ink techniques with minimalist, abstract forms on paper and canvas.

Inoue's art explores themes of impermanence, memory, and the intimacy of silence, often drawing inspiration from nature, poetry, and personal narratives. Her evocative compositions have been exhibited in solo and group shows in galleries across Japan, South Korea, and Europe, and her work is included in several prominent private collections. Inoue currently lives and works in Tokyo, where she continues to experiment with new media and collaborative projects, striving to communicate moments of quiet resonance through visual expression.
