Dafunkas

Dafunkas is a dynamic music project founded in 2014 by producers and multi-instrumentalists Mark Evans and Alicia Pinto, whose eclectic sound fuses funk, electronic, and jazz influences into a unique sonic signature. Based in London, Dafunkas quickly gained attention on the underground circuit with their energetic live performances and innovative use of sampling, analog synths, and live brass sections. Their debut album, “Funkadelic Frequencies,” released in 2017, received critical acclaim for its infectious grooves and genre-blending style, earning airplay on both mainstream and independent radio stations across Europe.

Over the years, Dafunkas has collaborated with a range of vocalists and musicians, and their music has been featured in advertising campaigns and film soundtracks. Dedicated to pushing creative boundaries, the duo continues to evolve, recently experimenting with neo-soul and nu-disco elements and garnering a loyal following through international festival appearances and an active online presence.
