Hannah Rose

Hannah Rose is an interdisciplinary artist whose work spans painting, sculpture, and installation, drawing inspiration from the intersections of memory, nature, and the human condition. Raised along the windswept coastlines of northern California and now based in Portland, Oregon, Rose’s upbringing instilled a deep reverence for organic forms and subtle shifts of light and color. After earning her BFA from the California College of the Arts in 2016, she began exhibiting in galleries across the West Coast, gaining recognition for her evocative use of texture and layered symbolism.

Rose’s practice is deeply rooted in process, often incorporating found materials and site-specific interventions to explore themes of transformation and transience. Her work has been featured in group and solo exhibitions at institutions such as Blue Sky Gallery and SOMArts Cultural Center, and she has completed artist residencies with the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology and the Djerassi Resident Artists Program. With each project, Hannah Rose invites viewers into contemplative spaces that blur the boundary between the personal and the universal, seeking to evoke a sense of wonder, quietude, and emotional resonance.
