June is an emerging multidisciplinary artist whose evocative works blur the boundary between memory and imagination. Born in Manila and currently based in Los Angeles, June draws from a diverse array of personal, cultural, and historical influences, weaving together painting, collage, and installation to explore themes of identity, displacement, and longing. June’s practice is rooted in a process of collecting and recontextualizing found materials—family photographs, handwritten letters, fragments of urban ephemera—transforming them into intimate visual narratives that resonate with universal emotion.
A graduate of the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts, June has exhibited in group and solo shows across Southeast Asia and the United States, garnering critical attention for their sensitive handling of subject matter and immersive storytelling. Informed by both the quiet nostalgia of the everyday and the broader diasporic experience, June continually seeks to create spaces for reflection, connection, and healing within their art.
