Lossless Wax

Lossless Wax is an experimental electronic music duo known for fusing analog synthesizers with complex digital sound design, creating immersive sonic landscapes that blur the boundary between ambient moods and fractured rhythms. Formed in Berlin in 2017 by producers Anya Richter and Matteo Grassi, the project began as a series of late-night studio sessions, evolving rapidly from minimalist loops to dense, textured compositions. Lossless Wax’s debut LP, "Echoes Without Surface," garnered international acclaim for its haunting atmospheres and meticulous production, leading to performances at festivals such as Unsound Kraków and Berlin Atonal.

Drawing influences from avant-garde composers, club culture, and early IDM, their music explores themes of technological memory, transience, and urban alienation, layering field recordings and granular synthesis with tactile beats. Offstage, Lossless Wax curates sound installations and collaborates with visual artists, continually pushing the envelope of audio-visual storytelling. Their relentlessly innovative approach cements their place at the forefront of the contemporary electronic underground.
