Lukas Kuhn

Lukas Kuhn is a contemporary visual artist based in the United Kingdom, renowned for his evocative explorations of identity and urban transformation through mixed media. Born in 1989, Kuhn’s artistic journey began in the industrial heartlands of northern England, an environment that continues to inform the atmospheric tone of his work. Combining elements of painting, collage, and digital manipulation, Kuhn weaves together imagery from cityscapes, archival photographs, and natural textures to challenge the boundaries between memory and modernity.

After completing his studies at Central Saint Martins in London, he rapidly gained recognition for his solo exhibitions across key UK cultural hubs, including Manchester, Bristol, and London, and has exhibited internationally in Berlin and Amsterdam. Kuhn’s practice is underpinned by a deep curiosity about the layers of history embedded in everyday spaces, and his works are held in several prominent private and public collections.
