Namasenda

Namasenda, born Naomi Namasenda, is a Swedish pop artist, singer, and DJ of Ugandan descent. Emerging from Stockholm's vibrant creative scene, she initially built her reputation with futuristic pop tracks blending high-energy production and playful melodies. Namasenda signed to the influential UK label PC Music in 2019, becoming the label’s first Black artist.

Her music channels hyperpop influences with euphoric synths, aggressive beats, and Auto-Tuned vocals, straddling the lines between club, electronic, and avant-pop genres. Namasenda’s debut singles “24/7” and “Dare” introduced her maximalist sound and bold aesthetic, quickly gaining a global underground following. Her subsequent releases and 2021 mixtape *Unlimited Ammo* further cemented her reputation for genre-defying experimentation, often collaborating with producers like A.

G. Cook, Oklou, and Hannah Diamond. She is known for immersive, high-energy DJ sets that bring together diverse influences from hardcore club music to pop.
