Born in New Jersey in 1972, Todd Edwards is a pioneering DJ, producer, and remixer renowned for his distinct approach to house and UK garage music. Drawing early inspiration from disco, house, and gospel, he developed a signature sound characterized by intricate vocal micro-samples, chopped-up rhythms, and shimmering melodies. Throughout the 1990s, Todd’s innovative productions, including the influential "Saved My Life," attracted the attention of the UK underground, cementing his role as a key architect of speed garage and UK garage.

His meticulous cut-up technique and soulful sensibilities influenced a generation of British producers and defined much of the genre’s golden era. Edwards’s collaborations with Daft Punk brought his artistry to global audiences. His vocals and co-production featured on the Grammy-winning track “Face to Face” from the album *Discovery*, and again on “Fragments of Time” for *Random Access Memories*.
